AI Disclosure
Updated October 26, 2026
This page explains, in plain English, where FrontDesk Global products use AI and how you stay in control. Each product’s own site has an AI Disclosure with more detail.
Where we use AI
- TheAutoReply: checks your Google reviews every 30 minutes and drafts replies in your brand voice (and a rewrite when Google rejects a reply). Every reply waits for your approval by default. You can switch on auto-posting for 4–5★ reviews only; 1–3★ reviews always wait for you.
- TestimonialCollect: tidies spelling and grammar in testimonials your customers write, and suggests short quotes and captions. Nothing is published until you approve it.
- FreshLocalSEO: drafts Google Business Profile posts and can suggest a profile description; only what you approve is published. Its weekly AI answer check asks AI assistants about businesses like yours and shows you the answers (they vary; it’s a sample).
- CustomerRetentionAI: drafts personal win-back texts. Approval mode is on by default. The “Silence Score” that flags quiet customers is a calculation, not generative AI.
- ReplaceReceptionist: texts back callers whose call was missed and holds the conversation by text. The first text says it is from an automated assistant, and it says it is an AI when asked. It answers from the business’s own information, takes messages and booking requests (never “booked”), and the business can take over any conversation. It does not answer calls by voice. It is not offered to healthcare practices yet.
- PreventNoShows: does not use AI. Reminders are templates you control, and the no-show forecast is a points calculation with visible reasons.
- FrontDesk hub: the morning text and the monthly Receipt are built from templates and arithmetic, not AI. The private review match and the plays are rules, not generative AI.
Private review matching
Where we suggest which of your customers may have written a public review, that suggestion is shown only to you inside your account. It is never included in a public reply, never shown to the reviewer or anyone else, and it is off by default for healthcare businesses. AI is never used to put private customer details into public replies.
What the AI is told not to do
- Argue with a reviewer, accuse anyone of lying, or threaten legal action.
- Reveal private information, or confirm that someone is a patient or client in a healthcare business.
- Promise refunds, discounts, or anything else you haven’t approved.
These are instructions and checks in the product, not guarantees. AI can still make mistakes, which is why drafts wait for your approval by default. You are the publisher of anything posted or sent in your business’s name.
Models and data
We use Anthropic’s Claude models. (FreshLocalSEO’s optional AI answer check also asks Google Gemini and ChatGPT how they describe local businesses; no customer data is sent.) We send only the input needed for each task. Neither we nor Anthropic train AI models on your data or your customers’ data.
Disclosure to the public
Replies and posts appear in your business’s name. Our products do not add an AI label to them; you can edit any draft before approving it. You are responsible for any AI disclosure the law, your industry, or a platform requires. None of our products makes automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people.
